How Excessive Pride Affects the Flow of Energy to the Chakras and Aura

In Pranic Healing teachings, the aura and chakras are viewed as the body’s energetic system that receives, assimilates, and distributes prana (life energy). Excessive pride, when it becomes a strong attachment to superiority, self-importance, or separation from others can create energetic imbalances that affect the smooth flow of divine energy.

When pride becomes attachment to superiority, recognition, or “I already know,” “I am never wrong”, it:

1. Creates Energetic Blockages

Excessive pride can make a person’s energy system more rigid. When the mind is filled with thoughts such as “I am better,” “I already know,” or “I do not need help,” the aura may become less receptive to higher vibrations. The flow of prana can become restricted, similar to a channel that becomes narrowed.

2. Affects the Crown Chakra and Spiritual Connection

The crown chakra is associated with higher spiritual energy and connection to the Divine source. Excessive pride may weaken receptivity because humility and openness are qualities that allow higher energies to be absorbed and integrated.

A person may receive spiritual teachings intellectually but find it difficult to experience deeper transformation because the energy cannot fully permeate the inner being.

3. Effect on the Heart Chakra

The heart chakra relates to love, compassion, and unity. Excessive pride often strengthens separation: “me versus others.” This can reduce the free expression of loving energy and make it harder to feel genuine compassion, gratitude, and interconnectedness.

4. Strengthens Lower Energies

Uncontrolled pride may reinforce energies connected with the lower chakras—such as attachment to power, recognition, control, or personal achievement. These energies can dominate the aura, making it less balanced and less aligned with higher spiritual qualities.

5. Reduces the Ability to Receive Blessings

A closed attitude caused by pride can limit the ability to receive guidance, corrections, and blessings from teachers, circumstances, and life itself. In contrast, humility creates an energetic “space” where more prana can enter and circulate.

6. Blocks Spiritual Growth

One of the greatest obstacles to spiritual development is the belief that one has already arrived. When pride becomes excessive, learning slows down because the person stops seeing areas for refinement.

A humble attitude allows the aura to become more refined, the chakras to become more balanced, and spiritual energy to flow with greater harmony.
Humility creates openness.
An open heart and mind allow divine energy to flow more freely through the aura and chakras.

Humility is not thinking less of oneself; rather, it is elevating oneself by removing the inner barriers that block the flow of higher energy. When pride and ego are released, one becomes a clearer channel for wisdom, love, and divine energy to flow through.

True spiritual growth begins when we allow ourselves to receive, learn, and transform. ✨
